This week, mobile users of the Epic Games Store can claim the narrative puzzle game A Guidebook of Babel by developer StarryStarry for free. The game launched on smartphones on August 6 exclusively on the Epic Games Store and immediately entered the weekly giveaway.

The story takes place on the mysterious Babel liner, which transports deceased passengers to the afterlife. Before departure, the crew erases their memories and uses the extracted memories as fuel for the ship.

Players must return to the past and use a special pen to rewrite events, changing the course of history. This is necessary to solve characters’ problems in the present and help them fulfill their wishes. To piece together the full picture, players must collect clues and connect them into logical chains using a notebook.

The original A Guidebook of Babel was released on PC in August 2023. On Steam, the game holds a 92% positive rating based on over 870 reviews.
