Game.Press has opened access to the Steam Next Fest Spotlight Collection. The selection is aimed at press and content creators, with demos available through Keymailer and Game.Press ahead of the June Steam Next Fest.
The collection includes five games from different corners of Steam. The lineup covers creature-collecting adventure, spooky farming RPG, supernatural mystery, 2D platforming and co-op extraction horror.
- Wilderings: The Lost Spring by Kabam Games combines open-world exploration, roguelite structure and the collection of mystical Hantu. Players rebuild a corrupted world while each run brings new enemies, rewards and build choices.
- Welcome to Elderfield by Kwalee is described as a spooky farming RPG. The player leaves school with little direction, starts a farm, meets locals, solves strange stories and deals with the Old Gods.
- Staffer Retro: A Supernatural Mystery Quest by Team Tetrapod focuses on investigation, dialogue and documents. The story follows incidents connected to Mana, the source of supernatural powers.
- Zozo and the Lost Dreams by Red Dunes Games follows 13-year-old Zozo, who enters his own dreams with help from Professor Aisha. A fantasy about becoming a superhero turns into a search for a way home.
- V.A.U.L.T. Protocol by Kiki Games is built for up to six players. A squad enters abandoned facilities, collects relics, survives anomalies and tries to extract before the run falls apart.
Steam Next Fest runs from June 15 to June 22. For developers, the spotlight gives early contact with press and video creators. For players, the collection offers a quick way to notice demos that could otherwise get buried in a crowded festival list.
