Free Demo for New Castlevania Game Belmont’s Curse Now Available
Progress made in the demo can be carried over to the full game.
Konami has released a free demo for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse, developed by Evil Empire, the studio that spent several years working on Dead Cells. Players can try the opening chapter on PC via Steam, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch, and later transfer their progress to the full game.
Belmont’s Curse is set in Paris in the year 1499, 23 years after Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse. Monsters have overrun the city, and they are opposed by Trevor Belmont and his daughter Rose, the protagonist of the new game.
Rose’s signature whip is useful not only in combat but also for exploring levels, allowing her to swing and overcome obstacles. She seals defeated bosses into Tarot cards to gain their abilities. Enemies will include Death, Medusa, Carmilla, and Joan of Arc.
The full version of Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse will be released on October 15, 2026.
