Moving beyond standard prefabs, our map designers have meticulously assembled these locations using unique asset compositions to ensure each one feels authentic. Many of these sites draw direct inspiration from real-world South Dakota landmarks—locals and frequent visitors alike might just spot a few familiar faces along their routes.

Farming facility

Agriculture is the lifeblood of South Dakota’s economy, and you will find no shortage of contracts serving this industry. Near Aberdeen, for instance, we’ve constructed a massive farming complex complete with towering silos for seed and crop storage. Set against the backdrop of the state’s signature rolling prairies and endless horizons, this route promises some of the most serene, wide-open driving experiences in the game.

The agricultural theme extends beyond crops; near Mitchell, players can visit a livestock depot inspired by real-life operations. Keep an eye on the surrounding pastures—with cattle outnumbering humans four-to-one in this state, you’ll definitely feel the rural charm.

For those who prefer rugged hauling, the Spearfish area offers a quarry-inspired site tucked deep within the Black Hills. Navigating these narrow, winding roads through rocky, industrial landscapes will demand your absolute focus behind the wheel.

We’ve also recreated the iconic open-pit mine in Lead. Beneath this massive former gold mine lies one of the deepest underground research laboratories in the U.S., where scientists study neutrinos and dark matter. We’ve captured the unique atmosphere of this facility, giving players a rare glimpse into a site designed to shield sensitive experiments from cosmic radiation.

Back near Aberdeen, you’ll encounter a vast, sprawling scrapyard focused on agricultural salvage. It’s a cluttered, intricate environment overflowing with retired equipment, heavy machinery, and spare parts—a paradise for any trucker navigating the rural trade routes.

Finally, no trip through the Midwest would be complete without the towering silhouette of a grain elevator. Near Mitchell, you’ll find one of these quintessential landmarks standing tall over the plains, acting as a vital hub for the regional crop supply chain.
