David Chase, the mind behind the seminal crime drama The Sopranos, is developing a new series for HBO.
The dramatic thriller, titled “MK‑Ultra”, will follow chemist and spy Sidney Gottlieb, who served in the CIA during the Cold War. Gottlieb led a program that carried out harsh experiments aimed at controlling human behavior.
No release date for the series has been announced.
