«Slow Horses» to get an eighth season
Apple TV has officially greenlit an eighth season of the hit series Slow Horses, solidifying its status as the longest-running original drama in the streaming platform’s history.
Based on the acclaimed novel series by Mick Herron, the show centers on a ragtag group of disgraced British intelligence agents operating out of Slough House under the guidance of the irascible Jackson Lamb, portrayed by Gary Oldman. Despite their fallen status within the agency, this dysfunctional team frequently finds themselves thwarting major threats to national security.
The ensemble cast also features Jack Lowden, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Olivia Cooke, among others. The sixth season debuted on Apple TV today, September 16, while a premiere date for the seventh season remains to be determined.
