Shadow of the Tomb Raider Unexpectedly Launches on Switch 2, Making Full Trilogy Available

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition has launched on Nintendo Switch 2 without advance notice, completing the Survivor trilogy on the console.

Aspyr has continued to release Lara Croft’s adventures on Switch 2 without prior announcements. This time, the final game in the trilogy about the heroine’s evolution is available. The edition includes the main campaign and all DLC.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition offers additional tombs, side missions, and two-player online co-op. The game costs $39.99, and a 10% launch discount runs until November 4.

A compilation, Tomb Raider: Definitive Survivor Trilogy, has also arrived on Switch 2. It includes all three games: Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider: 20 Year Celebration, and Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, along with their DLC and online modes. The bundle costs $69.99, and the 10% discount applies to it as well.

Switch 2 owners can now play the entire Survivor trilogy and follow Lara’s path from an inexperienced adventurer to a heroine ready to face serious threats.
