Activision’s Polish Studio Reportedly Developing Open-World RPG to Rival GTA VI and Cyberpunk 2077
Elsewhere Entertainment, a Poland-based studio owned by Activision, is developing an ambitious open-world RPG. According to the publisher’s vision, the game is meant to compete with GTA VI and Cyberpunk 2077.
The studio opened in Warsaw in 2024 to create a new franchise. The developers have not shown their game since then, but a new job listing reveals a few details.
Activision is looking for an assistant art director for animation. The job description mentions the development of large-scale gameplay and dynamic interaction with an open world. This could mean that the environment will react to the player’s actions instead of relying on scripted scenarios.

For example, characters might remember the protagonist’s actions, factions might change their attitude toward the player, and events might affect the state of the world. These are only possible ways the features could work, since there are no official details about the game yet.
The comparisons to GTA VI and Cyberpunk 2077 sound promising, but it is too early to judge the project’s potential. The only clear point is that Elsewhere is aiming for a large-scale project.
