Warner Bros. Discovery has confirmed that several companies have expressed interest in acquiring the media conglomerate, according to media reports.
Paramount Global had previously attempted to purchase Warner, but WBD executives judged their offer to be too low. The identities of the other bidders have not been disclosed.
The company’s leadership is also reviewing strategic options to maximize shareholder value. It remains unclear whether a transaction will ultimately take place.
