Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco spent one of the last days of 2023 cuddled up together on an artsy after-Christmas date.
In a photo shared to Gomez’s Instagram Story early Thursday (Dec. 28), the Only Murders in the Building star snaps a selfie in front of a many-mirrored structure with Blanco cozying up from behind, wrapping his arms around her and pressing his cheek to hers. The “Calm Down” singer also posted a picture of Blanco admiring the same construction, an infinite number of Benny Blancos reflecting back at him.
The site of the pair’s post-holiday date appears to be Luna Luna: Forgotten Fantasy, an art exhibit in Los Angeles. The installation is a reopening of a 1987 experimental amusement park made entirely of interactive art pieces, resurrected with the help of Drake, who backed the project financially.
Gomez first confirmed that she and the producer were dating about six months into their romance on Dec. 7, replying to fans on Instagram that Blanco “is my absolute everything in my heart” and that she is at her “happiest” in the relationship. She went on to share photos with her beau on her Story, as well as a snap of her letter “B” ring (presumably a tribute to Blanco).
About a week afterward, she made their relationship fully Instagram official by posting her first photos with Blanco on her main feed — one in which he hugs her amongst a group of friends and one in which she leans back to kiss him. “New York, my favorite moments w you this week 🤍,” she captioned the pictures, with Blanco simply commenting a pineapple emoji.
And while their romance is relatively new, Gomez and the pop engineer have known each other for quite some time. Not only did Blanco co-produce the Rare Beauty founder’s most recent song “Single Soon,” which arrived in August and bowed at No. 19 on the Billboard Hot 100, but the pair also worked together on Blanco’s “I Can’t Get Enough” alongside Tainy and J Balvin in 2019.
