Olivia Rodrigo Releases Holiday Single ‘Take Me Home (4 Christmas)’

Olivia Rodrigo released her first holiday song, “Take Me Home (4 Christmas),” and its music video on Thursday (Nov. 5).
The video shows Rodrigo with a family wearing Christmas sweaters, a scene teased in a preview a few days before the song’s release. Cynthia Nixon and Ben Marshall appear in the clip, playing a version of “Head’s Up” in which everyone tries to guess the same name, “Olivia Rodrigo,” taped to their foreheads.
Dan Nigro produced “Take Me Home (4 Christmas).” It follows Rodrigo’s recent remix of “Expectations” featuring Chappell Roan, which helped propel the song to No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100. The original appeared on the Daisy Chain Fields creator’s Billboard 200-topping album you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love.
Rodrigo’s song arrived a few hours ahead of Alanis Morissette’s album Good Weather for Immaculate Conception and Sufjan Stevens’ compilation Worst Christmas Ever. The High School Musical: The Musical: The Series alum is also on her Unraveled Tour, with dates scheduled across the United States and Canada through Dec. 20. The tour resumes in January after a short break.
