As another year draws to a close, the festive season is finally upon us. We want to extend our warmest wishes to everyone celebrating, no matter where you are or how you observe the holidays. Much like many of you, our team at SCS Software will be stepping away from our workstations to enjoy well-deserved time with friends and family. While our official channels might be a bit quieter during this period, rest assured we will be back in the driver’s seat and ready for new adventures early in the New Year!
The journey throughout 2025 has been nothing short of extraordinary for both of our flagship titles. We truly hope the various updates and expansions for Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator have brought joy to our #BestCommunityEver. This year marked a significant evolution for both games, highlighted by the breathtaking Nordic Horizons expansion, which unlocked the serene reaches of Northern Scandinavia. Across the Atlantic, American Truck Simulator saw the addition of three diverse U.S. states—Missouri, Iowa, and Louisiana—offering a wealth of new industries, cities, and scenic routes to conquer. Logistical variety also expanded with the Forest Machinery and Krone Agriculture Equipment DLCs, all bolstered by consistent technical refinements and base-game enhancements.
Looking ahead, the horizon is filled with ambitious projects. We are hard at work preparing our titles for their debut on consoles, while our map designers are meticulously crafting new regions including the Isle of Ireland, Iceland, British Columbia, Illinois, and South Dakota. Furthermore, innovative content like the Coaches and the Road Trip DLCs are progressing steadily. The future of trucking has never looked more promising!
These achievements are a testament to the passion of our incredible team, the collaboration of our partners, and, most importantly, the steadfast loyalty of our community.
