Season 2 of Spice and Wolf to Premiere in 2027 Alongside New Poster

Holo and Lawrence will face a new betrayal in the continuation of the story.

The second season of the anime Spice and Wolf: Merchant Meets the Wise Wolf is scheduled to premiere in 2027. Alongside this release window, the creators revealed a new poster featuring the tagline: “A new betrayal quietly creeps up on the merchant and the wolf.”

Despite the intriguing phrase, plot details for the second season are not yet disclosed. It is only confirmed that studio Passione has returned for production. Nobuyoshi Nagayama and Takahiro Majima have been appointed as directors, while Takeo Takahashi and Hijiri Sanpei, who oversaw the first season, transitioned to supervising directors. Koji Haneda and Satona Sugimoto are responsible for character design, and Kevin Penkin is composing the music.

An exact release date for the second season has not been announced yet.
