SCS On Tour: Inside Look at the All-Electric Scania

We’re very excited to share with you a special SCS On The Road episode, which confirms which vehicle was seen and shared in our recent ‘New Truck Spotted in ETS2’ blog post. As many of you guessed correctly, we’re happy to announce that the First Fully Electric Scania Truck will be coming to Euro Truck Simulator 2!

In this episode, we return to Sweden to give you a behind the scenes look at the process our team undertake to collect important reference material, and how we record audio for a new truck. This all took place at the famous Scania Demo Centre located in Södertälje. We’d like to express our gratitude to all those involved at Scania who made this trip and project possible! We look forward to sharing the end results in the future.

Much like previous additions, the Scania S Battery Electric Vehicle will be accessible only through the Quick Jobs section, as we continue to work on making changes to the in-game world to fully support electric vehicles.
