Paulson is reported to be taking on the role of serial killer Aileen Wuornos (1956–2002). Wuornos was convicted of killing seven men in Florida and later sentenced to death; the most famous film depiction of her life is the indie drama Monster, for which Charlize Theron won an Academy Award.
