Academy Award winner Sandra Bullock is set to lead an upcoming feature-length project for Sony Pictures, reuniting with screenwriter Dana Fox (known for The Lost City and the cinematic adaptation of Wicked). The casting news was first reported by Deadline.
While specific plot details are currently under wraps, Bullock will also serve as a producer on the film. This marks a continued partnership with Sony following her cameo appearance in the high-octane action thriller Bullet Train.
The duo previously collaborated on the 2022 action-comedy The Lost City, which starred Bullock as a successful novelist who finds herself stranded on a remote island alongside her book’s cover model (Channing Tatum). The film was a commercial hit, earning $192 million at the global box office.
Additionally, fans can look forward to seeing Bullock in Practical Magic 2 later this year. The highly anticipated sequel is currently slated for a September premiere.
