Sam Rockwell and Woody Harrelson, who previously shared the screen in the critically acclaimed Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, are set to reunite for an upcoming Netflix feature. According to Deadline, the duo will headline a new project titled Cackling of the Dodos.
Jason Bateman, the visionary behind Ozark and Black Rabbit, has signed on to direct. The plot revolves around a farmer who stumbles upon a corpse hidden inside a grain bin. In a desperate attempt to keep the discovery quiet, he and his supervisor try to bury the truth, only to find themselves spiraling into a much deeper mess.
The screenplay was penned by author Rye Curtis. While a firm release date has yet to be established, both leads remain highly active: Rockwell recently starred in Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die, while Harrelson is slated to appear alongside Kristen Stewart in the upcoming comedy Full Phil.
