Sam Neill’s Cause of Death Revealed

New Zealand actor Sam Neill, celebrated for his iconic role in *Jurassic Park*, has passed away due to complications from pneumonia. This was confirmed by his representative, Philip Grenz.

Sam succumbed to pneumonia. Prior to this illness, Sam had fought a courageous battle against lymphoma, successfully overcoming it through a pioneering treatment known as CAR-T therapy… Over the past year, Sam completed work on four consecutive projects, all of which are scheduled for release in the coming months,

— the official press release stated. Neill was originally diagnosed with stage three blood cancer in 2023✱. By the spring of 2026, the actor had achieved full remission.

Next year, audiences will see Neill in the posthumous release of the blockbuster *Godzilla x Kong: Supernova*.
