Sam Neill to Appear in The Legend of Zelda Adaptation
The late actor Sam Neill delivered one of his final performances in the highly anticipated blockbuster The Legend of Zelda, according to Deadline.
The live-action adaptation of the iconic Nintendo franchise is scheduled for international release on April 30, 2027. While specific details regarding Neill’s character remain under wraps, he joins an impressive ensemble cast including Bo Bragason as Zelda, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Link, and Uli Latukefu as the primary antagonist, Ganondorf. The production also features notable stars Dichen Lachman and Yvonne Strahovski.
Neill passed away on July 13 at the age of 78 following a battle with pneumonia. Audiences can also look forward to seeing him in the 2027 film Godzilla x Kong: Supernova.
