Modifications should now function correctly.

This summer, developer Saber Interactive and publisher Focus Entertainment introduced a specific update for the PC version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2. The game now officially supports Steam Workshop, allowing users to easily install custom modifications simply by subscribing to them.

However, players reported running into issues with certain mods in Steam Workshop. The developers recently returned to release a small update for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 titled Hotfix 14.1, which includes several fixes related to server mods without disclosing specific details.

Along with those changes, the developers implemented minor adjustments to customization and balance, while also fixing the mission system and certain combat conditions.

The full patch notes for Hotfix 14.1 for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 are available at the following link.

Previously, the game’s Steam rating took a slight hit following a statement by the head of Saber Interactive regarding the use of artificial intelligence in the project Rideshare Simulator. Some players now worry that content for Space Marine 2 might start being created using AI tools.
