In a recent interview with Deadline, acclaimed cinematographer Robert Richardson—known for his work on Natural Born Killers, The Aviator, and the Kill Bill saga—suggested that Quentin Tarantino could potentially kick off production on his tenth and final feature film by the summer of 2027, fulfilling a promise the director has maintained for years.
Richardson, a longtime collaborator who has lensed six of Tarantino’s pictures, noted that the details of the project remain a mystery, even to those within the director’s inner circle.
Currently, Tarantino is dedicated to finalizing a stage play slated for a London premiere in 2027, with plans to pivot back to filmmaking only after that production is complete.
