According to rumor, Jim Carrey is poised to lead the cast of a live-action adaptation of “The Jetsons.” Colin Trevorrow — known for directing Jurassic World — is attached to direct the film and is reportedly developing the screenplay.
The original animated series is set in the 2060s and centers on George and Jane Jetson, a married couple raising their children, keeping a pet dog named Astro, and employing a robotic maid called Rosie.
“The Jetsons” originally aired from 1962 through 1988.
