RÜFÜS DU SOL Makes EDM History With Madison Square Garden Show

RÜFÜS DU SOL is set to etch their name into music history this week as they descend upon Madison Square Garden, the world’s most iconic arena.

The Australian powerhouse trio kicks off a monumental run on Thursday, June 25, headlining four consecutive sold-out nights. This achievement marks the highest number of performances and ticket sales ever recorded by an electronic artist at the legendary venue.

The band has been shattering precedents lately. Their Inhale / Exhale World Tour has officially claimed the title of the highest-grossing electronic tour in history, cementing a string of attendance records across Australia and New Zealand.

By the conclusion of their 2025 Australian circuit, the band had played to a staggering 750,000 concertgoers, including three sold-out hometown spectacles at the massive Afterpay Arena. This push brought their annual headlining attendance to a total of 750,000, underscoring their global dominance.

Beyond their home turf, the group has achieved rare milestones, becoming only the second Australian act after AC/DC—and the first electronic ensemble—to headline the iconic Rose Bowl Stadium in Los Angeles. With a footprint that includes major sets at Lollapalooza, the group has entertained roughly 1.5 million fans on their Inhale / Exhale run, a feat recognized by promoters Live Nation and the Untitled Group.

The momentum continues for members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George, and James Hunt. On July 4, they are slated to perform for over 60,000 fans at Mexico City’s Foro Sol. Throughout this tour, the band has successfully commanded an array of legendary ballparks, from Chicago’s Wrigley Field to Boston’s Fenway Park and San Diego’s Petco Park.

Their current North American trek supports their fifth studio album, Inhale / Exhale, which debuted at No. 3 on the ARIA charts. With four ARIA Awards and a Grammy win for their hit “Alive” under their belts, RÜFÜS DU SOL shows no signs of slowing down.
