“Rocky Is Me,” “Ink,” “The Bunker”: Toronto Film Festival Lineup Announced
The official lineup for the 51st Toronto International Film Festival has been revealed. As one of the most anticipated events of the awards season, the festival is scheduled to run from September 10 to September 20.
Key highlights of this year’s program include:

Biographical dramas, including Peter Farrelly’s "I Am Rocky" and Danny Boyle’s "Ink";

Gripping thrillers such as "Bunker," featuring Javier Bardem and Penélope Cruz (pictured), and "A Talent for Murder," starring Helen Mirren;

Dramedies, notably Jesse Eisenberg’s "A Real Pain" and Chris Rock’s "Misty Green";

New projects from world-renowned directors, including Mike Leigh’s "Hard Truths," Lee Chang-dong’s "Possible Love," and Andrew Haigh’s "The Long Winter," among others.
Several films making the transition from Cannes to Toronto include Andrey Zvyagintsev’s "The Minotaur," Cristian Mungiu’s "Fjord," and "Black Ball." The festival will open with "Being Human," the sophomore feature from Academy Award-winning director Sian Heder, known for her work on "CODA."
