Rockstar Launches Brand War Event and Bonuses in GTA Online

Players can try on outfits inspired by well-known brands from the world of GTA.

In August, Rockstar Games announced the start of a massive event in GTA Online called Brand Wars. Players are invited to participate in a new conflict.

The developers shared that this street trademark war spans various activities, including odd jobs, Freemode events, and the sponsored Hotring Race Series. They stated, “Help friends with delivery missions and plot against rivals to prove who really owns Los Santos.”

Hotring Race participants can earn 4x rewards through August 26. Completing three Business Battles by August 19 grants the Impotent Rage outfit and bonus GTA$.

Users who play GTA Online through August 26 inclusively will receive the Declasse Hotring Sabre sports car, Sprunk and eCola license plates, and the Sprunk x eCola livery for the Hotring Sabre as gifts. Additionally, players can pick up free Sprunk and eCola bodysuits from stores while the Brand Wars event runs.

A Twitch Drops campaign is also running through August 26. By watching GTA V streams, players can earn several GTA$ bundles along with either a Sprunk hooded bodysuit or an eCola athletic tracksuit, depending on their preferred brand.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release this November on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. The developers have not yet mentioned a hypothetical “GTA Online 2,” and they have not specified a release date or launch window for the PC version of the game.
