Riot Games accidentally revealed the console release date for 2XKO

Riot Games has delivered exciting news for console-based fighting game enthusiasts. In just a matter of weeks, 2XKO—the highly anticipated project set within the League of Legends universe—will arrive on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

The studio had previously indicated that the title would hit consoles during the first month of 2026. However, the specific launch date recently surfaced following a leak. A new trailer for 2XKO was inadvertently set to public on YouTube before being quickly hidden. Since nothing truly disappears from the internet, the official release timing has now been uncovered.

2XKO is scheduled for release on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on January 20, 2026. On the same day, the game will officially transition out of its early access phase on other platforms.

2XKO is a competitive fighting game that brings iconic champions from the League of Legends IP and the Arcane series into the arena for high-octane duels. Players can look forward to unique character archetypes, spectacular combo systems, and deep tactical gameplay across a variety of immersive stages.
