Rihanna and A$AP Rocky Share Proud Moments at the 2025 Gotham Awards
December 1, 2025 — New York, NY

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky enjoyed a rare night out together at the 2025 Gotham Awards on Monday, December 1, where the couple celebrated each other and reflected on life as parents during red-carpet interviews.
Speaking with Extra TV at the ceremony — about two months after they welcomed their daughter, Rocki — Rihanna praised Rocky’s recent acting achievements and said she’s “so proud” of his work. Rocky had been nominated for the breakthrough performance award for his role in Highest 2 Lowest; the honor ultimately went to Abou Sangaré for Souleymane’s Story.
Rihanna also shared that her three children are thriving. Rocki arrived in September, joining their sons RZA, who is 3, and Riot Rose, 2. “They’re growing so fast,” she said, laughing about how her boys’ faces and even the length of their necks are changing.
On the carpet, Rihanna turned heads in a pink Balenciaga gown paired with a feathered hat, while Rocky opted for a timeless black suit with a pinstripe tie. He told reporters, including E! News, that life with Rihanna and their children feels like “a dream come true.”
“Every day is date night… it’s awesome,” he added, describing the family’s plans for their first holiday season with three kids and joking about his hopes for a white Christmas with a roaring fire and chestnuts roasting.
The couple has plenty to celebrate this year: Rocky co-chaired the 2025 Met Gala in May and has expanded his acting résumé, while Rihanna starred in the new Smurfs movie, which premiered in July. Coinciding with the Gotham Awards, Rihanna also marked a milestone as her 2016 album, Anti, reached 500 weeks on the Billboard 200 — the longest run for a Black female solo artist.
“God ain’t forget bout me!” she wrote on X after the album hit the milestone.
