The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences has officially revealed the distinguished recipients of its honorary Oscars for 2026.
The prestigious accolades will be awarded to:

Director Sir Ridley Scott (“Alien,” “Blade Runner”);

Actress Glenn Close (“101 Dalmatians,” “Fatal Attraction”);

Disney animator Floyd Norman (“Sleeping Beauty,” “Mulan”);

Producers Christine Vachon and Pamela Koffler (“Past Lives”).
The award ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 15 in Los Angeles.
Throughout his celebrated career, Scott has earned Academy Award nominations for directing “Gladiator,” “Black Hawk Down,” and “Thelma & Louise,” as well as for producing “The Martian.” Glenn Close has been nominated a total of eight times throughout her career but has yet to secure a win. Vachon received her first Academy Award nomination in 2024 for her work on “Past Lives.”
