The next chapter of the anime “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World” will send the characters across a treacherous, perilous desert.
Kadokawa has revealed initial details about the fourth season of the anime “Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World,” released a new trailer, and confirmed that the broadcast will begin in April 2026.
The upcoming season continues Subaru’s story as he and his allies must traverse the Auguria Desert and reach the Pleiades Watchtower. Following the events in Priestelle, Rem remains unconscious after being affected by the Archbishop of Greed.
In his search for a way to save her, Subaru learns of Shaula, an all-seeing sage who is said to hold vast knowledge. The route to the tower winds through unexplored dunes teeming with hostile creatures and unusual natural anomalies.
Production remains with studio White Fox. Masahiro Shinohara returns to the director’s chair after working on the third season. Character designer Haruka Segawa, composer Masahiro Yokotani, monster designer Keitaro Chiba, and other core staff also reprise their roles. The screenplay is written by the original light novel author, Tappei Nagatsuki.
