Since we first revealed the Louisiana map, the development journey has been a labour of love. This expansion brings a slice of the American South into the game: winding bayous, storied cities, distinctive local industries, and plenty of hauling challenges. Louisiana’s economy spans agriculture, fishing, forestry, petroleum, gas and coal — so expect a wide variety of cargo. Waterways and port infrastructure are central to the state’s logistics, with the Port of New Orleans among the busiest for seaborne freight. That translates to abundant hauling work for players.

Cruising Louisiana — World of Trucks event
To celebrate the DLC launch we’ve opened a World of Trucks event called Cruising Louisiana, live from the moment of release. Participate by exploring the map and completing deliveries to contribute to the community goal while earning exclusive rewards.
Event rewards
- Personal: Deliver cargo to or from 10 Louisiana cities to claim a World of Trucks achievement and the Southern Wings ATS truck paint job (Steam inventory item).
- Community: If the collective goal of driving 125,000,000 miles is achieved — and you’ve completed your personal objective — every qualifying participant receives the Golden South hanging ornament (Steam inventory item).
Plus — complete an External Contracts or External Market job to or from Baton Rouge and you’ll receive the Boudreaux the Bear cabin plush (Steam inventory item), a charming keepsake inspired by Louisiana’s bayou culture.
