The upcoming action thriller “Uprising,” starring Jason Statham, has been assigned an official release date. Its global premiere is set for August 21, 2026.
The protagonist, Cole Reed, is accused of killing his billionaire employer. Determined to clear his name, Reed takes it upon himself to find the real perpetrators.
The film is directed by Jean‑François Richet, known for “The Crash” with Gerard Butler, and is produced by Lionsgate.
