Shark Week is officially getting a dynamic K-pop makeover.

Just in time for Discovery’s highly anticipated annual programming block, renowned actor and comedian Ken Jeong has unveiled “Om-A-Nom (Shark Week),” hailed as the franchise’s inaugural official theme song. The lively track serves as a precursor to K-Pop Shark Heroes, an upcoming television special designed to reshape public attitudes toward sharks throughout East Asia and beyond. Blending signature comedy with K-pop-infused musical numbers and informative storytelling, the special promises a fresh take on marine conservation.

The single also boasts a standout feature from Grammy-nominated artist REI AMI. Audiences will likely recognize her as the voice behind Rumi from HUNTR/X, the fictional girl group featured in Netflix’s breakout animated sensation, KPop Demon Hunters. Alongside her memorable contributions to the film, REI AMI continues to reach new milestones in her thriving solo career.
