In Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, collecting the red brick during the “Red Hood Gang” mission unlocks the “Toxic Waste” modifier. Once active, this perk gives your character’s attire a distinct yellowish hue accented with green highlights. While these collectibles are usually easy to spot, this specific one can be surprisingly elusive if you aren’t paying close attention to your surroundings.

Finding the ‘Red Hood Gang’ Red Brick in Lego Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

As you progress through the main building, you will eventually reach a central room dominated by a large tank and patrolled by several Red Hood thugs. After neutralizing the enemies, head to the right side of the room to find an entrance leading into a short corridor. Once you step inside, check the area to your right.

To gain entry, continue down the hall and take another right before you reach the final door. Look for a low opening at the base of the wall; you can crawl through this gap to enter the pipe chamber.

Games via PolygonInside, switch to Jim Gordon and utilize his foam sprayer to plug the leaks emitting hazardous green liquid. This action will build pressure within the system, forcing the red brick to shift positions. Apply the foam to the second leak as well, and the red brick will be ejected from the pipe chamber.

Games via PolygonYou can exit this small room by crawling back through the opening or by switching to Batman and using his Batclaw to grapple onto the overhead ventilation duct. Once you are back out, return to the start of the corridor.

Simply switch back to Jim Gordon and spray the nearby pipe to neutralize the hazard. With the path clear, you are free to collect your prize and permanently unlock the “Toxic Waste” modifier.
