Record low price and a major update brought players back to The Crew Motorfest
The game’s resurgence is evident on Steam, where it first launched in April 2024. Ubisoft’s title recently celebrated its most successful day since debut, reaching a peak of over 12,000 concurrent players.
At the time of writing, the project has climbed to the 15th position on Steam’s global top-sellers list.
This sudden spike is driven by two factors. First is an all-time low price point; the Forza Horizon-style racer is currently available at a massive 90% discount, priced at just $6.99.
The second catalyst is a major upcoming expansion slated for March 4, 2026. Ubisoft is preparing a wealth of new content, including a theme-park-inspired island, a comprehensive track editor, overhauled collision physics, and the introduction of NASCAR competitions.
