Blizzard Entertainment is set to launch the highly anticipated second season of Overwatch, titled “Summit,” on April 14. This new chapter introduces Sierra, an innovative Damage hero designed to master verticality and battlefield control. Perhaps most exciting for the community, the update features a standout aesthetic for Ramattra—a character frequently underserved in the cosmetics department—marking a massive upgrade for the Tank hero.

The debut trailer for “Summit” offers a deeper look at Sierra’s tactical kit and unveils her introductory “Painter” outfit, available via the Season 2 Ultimate Battle Pass. Joining her in the premium track is the “Spring Fairy” skin collection, which extends to several heroes, including Illari, Ashe (alongside her companion BOB), Echo, Lifeweaver, Moira, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Tracer, and Wuyang. Meanwhile, the in-game shop will rotate in a new selection of pastel-themed Sakura skins for Esme, Freja, Genji, Hanzo, Junker Queen, and Juno, complemented by the return of the fan-favorite Le Sserafim collection from April 14–27.

The prestige tier of the Battle Pass delivers two distinct Mythics: the intricate “Sumi-Ichimonji” weapon skin for Genji and the high-octane “Volted Overdrive” look for Soldier: 76.

However, the real showstopper is the Ramattra skin tied to the Diablo 4: Lord of Hatred collaboration. Heavily inspired by Mephisto, the iconic antagonist of the expansion, this design serves as a long-awaited treat for players who feel the Tank has been neglected. It joins an already impressive roster of Diablo-themed cosmetics for heroes such as Moira, Orisa, Pharah, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Sombra, Wrecking Ball, and Zarya.

Beyond aesthetics, Season 2: Summit brings significant gameplay refinements. The developers are reintroducing post-match commendations and expanding social dynamics with the inclusion of inter-team voice chat. Map rotations are receiving attention as well, featuring a comprehensive rework of the Antarctic Peninsula and the addition of the Lijiang Night Market to the competitive Stadium mode. Additionally, Ramattra and Jetpack Cat are joining the Stadium roster, with an balance pass arriving for Juno.

As Overwatch approaches its 10th anniversary on May 24, players can anticipate a series of special celebratory events to mark the decade-long milestone.
