Games Workshop Unveils New Skeleton Horsemen Miniature Set for Warhammer: The Old World
The Tomb Kings will soon receive reinforcements for their Khemri armies as Games Workshop releases a set of 10 plastic skeleton horsemen miniatures for the Warhammer: The Old World tabletop game.
Games Workshop has revealed a new multipart plastic kit for Warhammer: The Old World containing 10 cavalry miniatures.

The models can be built as either skeleton horsemen or skeleton mounted archers. Units can be armed with a cavalry spear or sword in addition to shields. The set also includes interchangeable heads to easily customize the undead hordes.
The miniatures can be deployed as a single unit of 10 models or as two smaller units of five. Each group of five contains enough components to build a full command group, including a champion, musician, and standard bearer.

While the relentless Khemri legions march forward in rows of shielded warriors and archer regiments that fill the sky with deadly arrows, skeleton horsemen and mounted archers serve a vital role as skirmishers. Using their high speed, they sweep around enemy flanks to strike where it hurts most.

They are particularly effective at destroying war machine crews and vulnerable support units while the player’s heavier forces fight for the center of the battlefield. The new mounted archers will be available for purchase in the near future. Their rules can be found in the Warhammer: The Old World — Ravening Hordes book.
