“Quartet I” Announces Its First Rom-Com
Atmosphera Kino has officially announced the start of production for “My Older Man,” a romantic comedy marking a genre departure for the iconic “Quartet I” collective, best known for the “What Men Talk About” franchise.
The film is helmed by director Sergey Ilyin (“Passion for Matvey”). Leonid Barats, serving as both lead actor and co-writer, will star as Zhenya, a middle-aged architect who finds himself smitten with a significantly younger woman, portrayed by Sofia Lopunova.
The impressive ensemble cast also features Rostislav Khait, Kamil Larin, Alexander Demidov, Victoria Isakova, Anzhelika Varum, Olga Medynich, Yulia Alexandrova, and others. The project is being produced by Yellow, Black & White in collaboration with the streaming platform START.
The film is scheduled to hit Russian theaters on March 4, 2027.
