Krafton intends to harness artificial intelligence to automate its workflows.
South Korean developer Krafton, known for PUBG, The Callisto Protocol, and Subnautica 2, has announced plans to become a company fully focused on artificial intelligence. CEO Chang-han Kim made the declaration during the Krafton Live Talk event on October 23.
Starting today, Krafton will begin automating processes with AI and implement AI-driven management across the company.
To execute this strategy, Krafton will invest roughly 100 billion won (about $70 million) to build a GPU cluster for AI research and automation. The company aims to complete development of an AI platform and a data integration system by the end of 2026, establishing a unified infrastructure for all workflows.
Starting in 2026, Krafton will also set aside 30 billion won annually to train employees in using AI tools.
