Pre-orders Open for Snake Board Game Based on Nokia 6110 Arcade Puzzle
In September, the legendary digital entertainment of the monochrome screen era will move from tight displays to the tabletop with the release of a project titled Snake. Players will collect apples, stars, and other bonuses, leap over opponents, and avoid collisions with obstacles.
Snake, also known as Python, Boa, and Worm, is a genre of computer games in which the player controls the head of a growing snake and tries to avoid colliding with various obstacles, including its own tail.
The first such projects appeared back in the 1970s, but the most famous version is from Nokia, which first debuted on the pushbutton Nokia 6110 phone, the indestructible sibling of the Nokia 3310.

Publisher Hobby World has opened pre-orders for the Snake board game, which is designed for 2 to 4 players. This project cleverly intertwines the iconic arcade puzzle with dice rolls and route planning.
A game session takes no more than half an hour, maintaining tension until the final turn. Inside the box are three double-sided boards with a special coating, dry-erase markers, card decks, and a set of unique dice that dictate the rhythm and direction of movement.

The main goal is to cross lines with apples, stars, and sparkling diamonds to instantly log them to your score. Accumulated trophies can be exchanged for powerful bonuses such as extra maneuvers, speed boosts, or spectacular jumps directly over obstacles.
The winner is determined by counting points tallied after the completion of rounds or a sudden collision. The participant with the highest score takes the top spot on the leaderboard. In the event of a tie, the player with the longest and most resilient snake is recognized as the winner. The board game will arrive in warehouses at the end of September 2026.
