Post Malone Delays Tour Across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand

Fans across Asia, Australia, and New Zealand will have to wait a little longer to see Post Malone live, as the genre-blending superstar has officially deferred the upcoming international leg of his Big Ass World Tour.

The highly anticipated stadium circuit was slated to kick off down under this October, boasting scheduled stops at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on October 9, Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on October 12, Sydney’s ENGIE Stadium on October 15, and Auckland’s Go Media Stadium on October 21.

Beyond his headlining stadium engagements, Malone was also billed as the marquee act for Australia’s regional Strummingbird Festival, which was due to touch down in Ballarat, Newcastle, and the Sunshine Coast.

The entire slate of dates has been temporarily shelved. To date, neither the artist’s team nor event promoters have provided a definitive reason for the sudden calendar shift.

“We’re gutted to let you know that Post Malone will no longer be headlining Strummingbird, due to the recent postponement of his Asia and Australian tours,” festival organizers confirmed in a public dispatch.

Tour promoter Live Nation has not yet shared makeup dates for the regional sweep. The planned shows were to mark Malone’s maiden return to the territory following an extensive 2023 run, during which he co-headlined alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers and led the Spilt Milk festival lineup—where he memorably partook in the classic Australian tradition of drinking beer from a sneaker.

Malone has consistently enjoyed exceptional chart resonance throughout Australasia. Every single one of his seven major releases has landed within the ARIA Top 10, propelled by chart-topping debuts for Beerbongs & Bentleys and Hollywood’s Bleeding, alongside a No. 2 finish for his 2024 country collection, F-1 Trillion.

The sudden tour hiatus arrives amid an otherwise bustling personal and professional chapter for the entertainer. Alongside announcing his engagement to Christy Lee, Malone recently debuted his unreleased single “Chrome Heartbreaker” during the 2026 FIFA World Cup Closing Ceremony and finally made his breakout 2016 mixtape, August 26th, accessible on major streaming services.
