Kenji Tanigaki, the director behind the Hong Kong action hit “Enter the Fat Dragon,” has been tapped by Lionsgate to helm a new action feature titled “The Reckoner,” starring Peter Dinklage in the lead role.
The screenplay is being penned by Derek Kolstad, the creative mastermind behind the “John Wick” franchise, while Anthony and Joe Russo are set to produce. Although specific plot details remain under wraps, both Kolstad and Dinklage were instrumental in pitching the project to the Russo brothers, with the star also serving as a producer on the film.
Production for “The Reckoner” is tentatively scheduled to begin before the end of 2026.
