Pedro Pascal plays the cello: first look at the drama “Eddington”

Searchlight Pictures has unveiled the first official images from the upcoming drama “Behemoth!”✱The title can also be interpreted as “mastodon.” The film, starring Pedro Pascal in the lead role, is slated for an international theatrical release later this year.

Pascal portrays Alex, a fictional cellist who returns to Los Angeles to record a new film score. While navigating his professional commitments, he struggles to reconcile with his estranged family and former flame, all while embarking on a new romance with an orchestral colleague.

The film is written and directed by Tony Gilroy (known for “Michael Clayton” and “Andor”). Joining Pascal on screen is a stellar ensemble cast, including Eva Victor, Will Arnett, Olivia Wilde, Hank Azaria, and Matthew Lillard. The project features an ambitious musical score composed by a collaboration of nine legendary Hollywood composers, including Alan Silvestri, Michael Giacchino, and James Newton Howard.
