Salutations, Heroes!
We are thrilled to launch a comprehensive update designed to refine faction balance, resolve exploits, and streamline your gameplay experience. Drawing from your invaluable feedback and in-game performance data, we have implemented sweeping changes that are set to invigorate the current meta.
Key Highlights:
- Necromancy Overhaul: We’ve completely reimagined the post-combat undead-raising mechanics. You can now raise fallen enemies into undead units even if your army lacks that specific tier. Energy costs have been recalibrated, and we have introduced a refined UI that allows you to manually convert casualties into Necromantic Energy directly from the combat results screen.
- Faction Skill Refinements: Schism’s “Abyssal Communion” has been expanded to support non-Schism units, and the Hive’s larvae mechanics have been adjusted to pivot their utility toward explosive, high-impact strategies.
- Battle Magic & Summon Avatar: With Might heroes recently softened, we are reverting “Battle Magic” to its original baseline values. Additionally, “Summon Avatar” has been adjusted; while its raw base power is reduced, it now offers deeper tactical customization through specialized sub-skill upgrades.
- Competitive Tournament Templates: We’ve introduced the “Jebus Tournament” and “Outcast Tournament” templates to the random map generator, both supporting seamless simultaneous turns. We’ve also added “Mix” and “Galaxy” hybrid templates for added variety.
- Strategic Rotations: Both Classic and Single Hero modes feature updated template rotations, alongside subtle refinements to the faction pick-and-ban protocol.
- Squashed Exploits: We have patched several bugs, including the infinite resource exploit for Temple players and erratic damage calculations for Dungeon dragons.
⚠️ Fair Play Notice: Deliberate exploitation of bugs in competitive modes is strictly prohibited and may result in temporary or permanent bans. Please safeguard your account by competing with integrity! ⚠️
Thank you for your ongoing support, your contributions to the community wiki, and your dedication to helping us refine the game!
