Changelog
Version 0.82.08
Computer Opponents
- Adjusted how frequently AI heroes use Global Map Spells at each difficulty level:
- Easy: AI heroes do not use Global Map Spells.
- Normal: Only the AI’s current main hero uses Global Map Spells, at most once per game day. Secondary heroes do not use them.
- Moderate: Both main and secondary AI heroes can use Global Map Spells at most once per game day.
- Hard and Multiplayer: The AI’s main hero can use Global Map Spells without restriction, while secondary heroes can use them at most once per game day.
- Unfair: Both main and secondary AI heroes can use Global Map Spells without restriction.
- On all difficulty levels except Unfair and Multiplayer, the AI now learns Global Map Spells in a random order.
Balance
- Restored the previous enactment costs for the Resource Riches I, II, and III laws across all factions, reducing them from 2/3/4 to 1/2/3.
Templates
- Jebus Cross, Jebus Arena, and Jebus Tournament: Slightly reduced the weekly growth of guards protecting passages into desert areas.
- Blitz: The two guaranteed external creature dwellings in the starting area now appear near the road.
- Sprint:
- Weakened the guards protecting passages between areas.
- Rivers no longer generate on this template.
- The town in the third area now begins with a non-upgraded Tier 3 creature dwelling.
- The town in the fifth area now begins with a non-upgraded Tier 5 creature dwelling.
- The Mercenary Guild location can no longer generate on this template.
- Pandora’s Boxes containing creatures can no longer be placed behind the same guard as other objects.
- Vendetta: Fixed an issue that significantly reduced the number of Pandora’s Boxes in desert areas.
Interface
- In matchmaking, hovering over a template name now displays a tooltip showing the template image on the back of the card.
- Made minor visual changes to the match start screen.
- During faction and hero selection, hovering over the template name now displays its information.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue that stopped towns from receiving additional creature growth from captured external dwellings after loading a saved game.
- Fixed a rare crash caused by certain spell combinations.
