Paramount has officially unveiled Paramount Games Studio, a new dedicated division tasked with developing video games based on the media giant’s extensive portfolio of intellectual properties. Leadership views this venture as a strategic cornerstone of its business operations, positioning gaming alongside its established film, television, and streaming sectors.

The newly formed studio integrates the teams from Skydance Interactive and Skydance New Media. Tony Driscoll has been appointed to lead the division, with Dan Prigg serving as the head of gaming operations and Sean Kittelsen overseeing the creative strategy. Furthermore, acclaimed game designer and writer Amy Hennig, renowned for her pivotal work on the Uncharted series, will take on the role of creative director.

Key projects transitioning to Paramount Games Studio include the action title Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra and an unannounced game set within the Star Wars universe.

Additionally, the company has already teased the studio’s inaugural major project: a new game featuring the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
