Over 20% of Switch 2 Owners Bought Pokémon Pokopia
Pokémon Pokopia has surpassed 5 million copies sold worldwide following its March launch exclusively on Switch 2, according to updated sales figures released by The Pokémon Company.
That milestone accounts for roughly 21% of the console’s total install base, with Switch 2 hardware sales currently standing at 23.68 million units.
The performance makes Pokémon Pokopia the second best-selling game on the platform to date. It trails only Mario Kart World at 15 million copies while outpacing Donkey Kong Bananza, which has reached 4.78 million copies.
Koei Tecmo led primary development on Pokémon Pokopia. The title has already emerged as one of the most successful Pokémon spin-offs in the history of the franchise.
