One-Winged Angel: Female Cosplayer Brings Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII to Life

Model Natasha “Dziro” Kuzmina journeyed to a world called Gaia to transform into Sephiroth from the role-playing game Final Fantasy VII — a figure bent on crushing Cloud Strife, toppling the old order, and ascending to godhood.

Final Fantasy VII stands as one of the most influential and beloved video games of all time, particularly within the JRPG genre. Across the past 28 years it has spawned a remake, amassed a passionate fan community, and secured its place as a cult classic.

Photographer Setor and cosplayer Natasha “Dziro” Kuzmina delighted fans of the RPG with a recent photoshoot. In the session the model assumed the likeness of Sephiroth — the principal antagonist of Final Fantasy VII.

Sephiroth is the outcome of Shin‑Ra Corporation’s morally corrupt experiments. His story underscores how the hunger for power and the desire to dominate nature can give rise to a monster. He exists simultaneously as victim and as the instrument of the system that created him.

The character is clad in a long black coat trimmed with silver pauldrons, paired with black boots and trousers. The upper portion of the coat remains unfastened, exposing the crossed SOLDIER harnesses across his chest.

He is characterized by long silver hair and green eyes with vertical pupils. Additionally, he wields the Masamune — an enormous katana measuring about seven feet in length.
