One Piece to Get Two New Movies, First Covering the God Valley Incident
The creators of One Piece announced two new animated feature films during One Piece Day ’26, revealing the projects alongside a brief teaser featuring the logos for both upcoming movies. The releases are timed to celebrate milestone anniversaries for Eiichiro Oda’s manga and its anime adaptation.

One Piece Film: God Valley is scheduled to debut in Japanese theaters in summer 2027 to mark the 30th anniversary of Oda’s original manga. The story centers on the God Valley Incident, which took place 38 years prior to the main narrative, when Gol D. Roger and Monkey D. Garp joined forces against Rocks D. Xebec before the island vanished from world maps.
One Piece Film: BAAD is slated for release in 2029 to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the One Piece anime series. Plot details and further production specifics have not yet been disclosed.
