Olivia Rodrigo’s Daisy Chain Fields Festival Brings in $10 Million for Women’s Charities

While global systemic inequalities and threats to bodily autonomy cannot be dissolved overnight, pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo has established a formidable foundation for progress. Through the launch of her dedicated festival initiative, Daisy Chain Fields, the multi-platinum artist has successfully mobilized $10 million in financial support for organizations advocating for reproductive freedom, essential healthcare equity, and survivors of domestic abuse.

Rodrigo revealed the monumental philanthropic milestone during a media briefing on Friday, August 28. Addressing members of the press, the singer-songwriter expressed deep gratitude for the public’s overwhelming response to the festival’s mission.

“It is a tremendous privilege to announce that we are channeling $10 million directly into our ten nonprofit partner organizations,” Rodrigo shared. “I cannot wait to celebrate alongside everyone tomorrow—see you out on the fields.”

An All-Women Showcase Fueling Real-World Advocacy

The landmark financial contribution preceded the first-ever Daisy Chain Fields gathering in Irvine, California. Hand-picked entirely by Rodrigo, the festival’s bill spotlights an eclectic, generation-spanning roster of female musicians, including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Mitski, Bikini Kill, The Breeders, and Garbage. The lineup also boasts special appearances by iconic vocalists Stevie Nicks, Sarah McLachlan, and Karen O.

While global breakout group KATSEYE was slated to perform, the ensemble had to withdraw following an ankle sprain sustained by member Megan, opening a performance slot filled by indie-pop act Devon Again.

Rodrigo first unveiled the concept for Daisy Chain Fields earlier this summer, framing the festival as the fulfillment of a longstanding creative and philanthropic vision. The venture directs 100 percent of its net proceeds to grassroots non-profits committed to protecting and elevating women and young girls.

“Bringing this festival to life has been a personal ambition of mine for years,” Rodrigo stated during the initial rollout. “I wholeheartedly believe that communal celebration, artistry, and joy can serve as powerful catalysts for structural reform, and I hope Daisy Chain Fields stands as proof of that potential.”
