Notice of Conclusion for the inZOI Next Engine Preview

Greetings, Creators.

The Next Engine Preview beta branch, which has been active since March 5, is set to conclude with our update on March 26. We would like to express our deepest gratitude to every Creator who participated and provided invaluable data during this testing phase.

◆ Beta Evaluation & Results

Analytical data and community feedback gathered during the beta period have confirmed a significant leap in architectural stability following the transition from Unreal Engine 5.4 to 5.6. Our technical assessment highlighted a marked reduction in software crashes and notable performance gains, providing a solid foundation for the upcoming official release.

◆ Future Roadmap & Implementation

The official integration of Unreal Engine 5.6 is slated for deployment this April. This milestone update will introduce several key technical enhancements:

  • Enhanced Stability: The implementation of Unreal Engine 5.6 includes a suite of internal bug fixes, leading to a more robust environment and a substantial decrease in critical errors.
  • Optimized Performance: By leveraging the latest engine features, many users will observe improved framerates and efficiency, tailored to their specific hardware configurations.
  • Superior Visual Fidelity: Advancements in engine-level rendering will be fully integrated, resulting in more accurate and high-quality reflections across the world.

◆ Memory Management & Optimization

In addition to the engine upgrade, a comprehensive memory optimization patch is also scheduled for release in April.

Our team is currently focused on “resource hygiene”—the systematic removal of redundant assets—to bolster overall system performance. By streamlining memory usage, we aim to deliver a more fluid gameplay experience characterized by reduced micro-stuttering and fewer localized frame drops. These optimizations will also ensure that performance remains consistent during prolonged gaming sessions, preventing the degradation often seen over time.

We remain dedicated to refining the inZOI experience and thank you for your continued support.

Warm regards,
The inZOI Team
